CVE-2026-35215 1 Firebirdsql 1 Firebird 2026-04-18 7.5 High
Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions prior to 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14, the sdl_desc() function does not validate the length of a decoded SDL descriptor from a slice packet. A zero-length descriptor is later used to calculate the number of slice items, causing a division by zero. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted slice packet to crash the server. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14.

CVE-2026-31423 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_hfsc: fix divide-by-zero in rtsc_min() m2sm() converts a u32 slope to a u64 scaled value. For large inputs (e.g. m1=4000000000), the result can reach 2^32. rtsc_min() stores the difference of two such u64 values in a u32 variable `dsm` and uses it as a divisor. When the difference is exactly 2^32 the truncation yields zero, causing a divide-by-zero oops in the concave-curve intersection path: Oops: divide error: 0000 RIP: 0010:rtsc_min (net/sched/sch_hfsc.c:601) Call Trace: init_ed (net/sched/sch_hfsc.c:629) hfsc_enqueue (net/sched/sch_hfsc.c:1569) [...] Widen `dsm` to u64 and replace do_div() with div64_u64() so the full difference is preserved.
CVE-2026-25799 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-04-17 5.3 Medium
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, a logic error in YUV sampling factor validation allows an invalid sampling factor to bypass checks and trigger a division-by-zero during image loading, resulting in a reliable denial-of-service. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch.
CVE-2026-3383 1 Chaiscript 1 Chaiscript 2026-04-16 3.3 Low
A weakness has been identified in ChaiScript up to 6.1.0. This affects the function chaiscript::Boxed_Number::go of the file include/chaiscript/dispatchkit/boxed_number.hpp. Executing a manipulation can lead to divide by zero. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
CVE-2026-20057 1 Cisco 3 Cisco Utd Snort Ips Engine Software, Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-04-16 5.8 Medium
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) feature which could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash.    This vulnerability is due to lack of proper error checking when decompressing VBA data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to unexpectedly restart causing a a denial of service (DoS) condition.

CVE-2025-61554 1 Bitvisor 1 Bitvisor 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
A divide-by-zero in VirtIO network device emulation in BitVisor from commit 108df6 (2020-05-20) to commit 480907 (2025-07-06) allows local attackers to cause a denial of service (host hypervisor crash) via a crafted PCI configuration space access.
CVE-2025-54581 1 0x676e67 1 Vproxy 2026-04-15 7.5 High
vproxy is an HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 proxy server. In versions 2.3.3 and below, untrusted data is extracted from the user-controlled HTTP Proxy-Authorization header and passed to Extension::try_from and flows into parse_ttl_extension where it is parsed as a TTL value. If an attacker supplies a TTL of zero (e.g. by using a username such as 'configuredUser-ttl-0'), the modulo operation 'timestamp % ttl' will cause a division by zero panic, causing the server to crash causing a denial-of-service. This is fixed in version 2.4.0.
CVE-2026-25169 1 Microsoft 24 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 21 more 2026-04-14 6.2 Medium
Divide by zero in Microsoft Graphics Component allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service locally.
CVE-2026-23266 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-13 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: rivafb: fix divide error in nv3_arb() A userspace program can trigger the RIVA NV3 arbitration code by calling the FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO ioctl on /dev/fb*. When doing so, the driver recomputes FIFO arbitration parameters in nv3_arb(), using state->mclk_khz (derived from the PRAMDAC MCLK PLL) as a divisor without validating it first. In a normal setup, state->mclk_khz is provided by the real hardware and is non-zero. However, an attacker can construct a malicious or misconfigured device (e.g. a crafted/emulated PCI device) that exposes a bogus PLL configuration, causing state->mclk_khz to become zero. Once nv3_get_param() calls nv3_arb(), the division by state->mclk_khz in the gns calculation causes a divide error and crashes the kernel. Fix this by checking whether state->mclk_khz is zero and bailing out before doing the division. The following log reveals it: rivafb: setting virtual Y resolution to 2184 divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN PTI CPU: 0 PID: 2187 Comm: syz-executor.0 Not tainted 5.18.0-rc1+ #1 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS rel-1.12.0-59-gc9ba5276e321-prebuilt.qemu.org 04/01/2014 RIP: 0010:nv3_arb drivers/video/fbdev/riva/riva_hw.c:439 [inline] RIP: 0010:nv3_get_param+0x3ab/0x13b0 drivers/video/fbdev/riva/riva_hw.c:546 Call Trace: nv3CalcArbitration.constprop.0+0x255/0x460 drivers/video/fbdev/riva/riva_hw.c:603 nv3UpdateArbitrationSettings drivers/video/fbdev/riva/riva_hw.c:637 [inline] CalcStateExt+0x447/0x1b90 drivers/video/fbdev/riva/riva_hw.c:1246 riva_load_video_mode+0x8a9/0xea0 drivers/video/fbdev/riva/fbdev.c:779 rivafb_set_par+0xc0/0x5f0 drivers/video/fbdev/riva/fbdev.c:1196 fb_set_var+0x604/0xeb0 drivers/video/fbdev/core/fbmem.c:1033 do_fb_ioctl+0x234/0x670 drivers/video/fbdev/core/fbmem.c:1109 fb_ioctl+0xdd/0x130 drivers/video/fbdev/core/fbmem.c:1188 __x64_sys_ioctl+0x122/0x190 fs/ioctl.c:856
CVE-2026-5747 1 Aws 1 Firecracker 2026-04-08 7.5 High
An out-of-bounds write issue in the virtio PCI transport in Amazon Firecracker 1.13.0 through 1.14.3 and 1.15.0 on x86_64 and aarch64 might allow a local guest user with root privileges to crash the Firecracker VMM process or potentially execute arbitrary code on the host via modification of virtio queue configuration registers after device activation. Achieving code execution on the host requires additional preconditions, such as the use of a custom guest kernel or specific snapshot configurations. To remediate this, users should upgrade to Firecracker 1.14.4 or 1.15.1 and later.
CVE-2026-34546 1 Internationalcolorconsortium 1 Iccdev 2026-04-02 6.2 Medium
iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools for working with ICC color management profiles. Prior to version 2.3.1.6, a crafted TIFF input can trigger Undefined Behavior (UB) due to division by zero in the TIFF handling code paths used by iccTiffDump. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.1.6.
CVE-2026-4603 2 Jsrsasign Project, Kjur 2 Jsrsasign, Jsrsasign 2026-03-25 5.9 Medium
Versions of the package jsrsasign before 11.1.1 are vulnerable to Division by zero due to the RSASetPublic/KEYUTIL parsing path in ext/rsa.js and the BigInteger.modPowInt reduction logic in ext/jsbn.js. An attacker can force RSA public-key operations (e.g., verify and encryption) to collapse to deterministic zero outputs and hide “invalid key” errors by supplying a JWK whose modulus decodes to zero.
CVE-2026-31884 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-03-23 6.5 Medium
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.24.0, division by zero in MS-ADPCM and IMA-ADPCM decoders when nBlockAlign is 0, leading to a crash. In libfreerdp/codec/dsp.c, both ADPCM decoders use size % block_size where block_size = context->common.format.nBlockAlign. The nBlockAlign value comes from the Server Audio Formats PDU on the RDPSND channel. The value 0 is not validated anywhere before reaching the decoder. When nBlockAlign = 0, the modulo operation causes a SIGFPE (floating point exception) crash. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.24.0.
