by deferring linking file vma until vma is fully initialized. Those vmas
should be initialized first before they can be used. |
| OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. From version 3.4.0 to before version 3.4.8, sensitive information from heap memory may be leaked through the decoded pixel data (information disclosure). This occurs under default settings; simply reading a malicious EXR file is sufficient to trigger the issue, without any user interaction. This issue has been patched in version 3.4.8. |
| The Active Directory Integration / LDAP Integration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to LDAP Injection in versions up to, and including, 4.1.5. This is due to insufficient escaping on the supplied username value. This makes it possible for attackers, with an existing account on a vulnerable WordPress instance, to extract potentially sensitive information from the LDAP directory. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/cma: Allow UD qp_type to join multicast only
As for multicast:
- The SIDR is the only mode that makes sense;
- Besides PS_UDP, other port spaces like PS_IB is also allowed, as it is
UD compatible. In this case qkey also needs to be set [1].
This patch allows only UD qp_type to join multicast, and set qkey to
default if it's not set, to fix an uninit-value error: the ib->rec.qkey
field is accessed without being initialized.

| If auth_username_chars is empty, it is possible to inject arbitrary LDAP filter to Dovecot's LDAP authentication. This leads to potentially bypassing restrictions and allows probing of LDAP structure. Do not clear out auth_username_chars, or install fixed version. No publicly available exploits are known. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.22, 2.9.3, and 2.10.1, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could use the JavaScript Task Runner to allocate uninitialized memory buffers. Uninitialized buffers may contain residual data from the same Node.js process — including data from prior requests, tasks, secrets, or tokens — resulting in information disclosure of sensitive in-process data. Task Runners must be enabled using `N8N_RUNNERS_ENABLED=true`. In external runner mode, the impact is limited to data within the external runner process. The issue has been fixed in n8n versions 1.123.22, 2.10.1 , and 2.9.3. Users should upgrade to this version or later to remediate the vulnerability. If upgrading is not immediately possible, administrators should consider the following temporary mitigations: Limit workflow creation and editing permissions to fully trusted users only, and/or use external runner mode (`N8N_RUNNERS_MODE=external`) to isolate the runner process. These workarounds do not fully remediate the risk and should only be used as short-term mitigation measures. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.27, 2.13.3, and 2.14.1, a flaw in the LDAP node's filter escape logic allowed LDAP metacharacters to pass through unescaped when user-controlled input was interpolated into LDAP search filters. In workflows where external user input is passed via expressions into the LDAP node's search parameters, an attacker could manipulate the constructed filter to retrieve unintended LDAP records or bypass authentication checks implemented in the workflow. Exploitation requires a specific workflow configuration. The LDAP node must be used with user-controlled input passed via expressions (e.g., from a form or webhook). The issue has been fixed in n8n versions 1.123.27, 2.13.3, and 2.14.1. Users should upgrade to one of these versions or later to remediate the vulnerability. If upgrading is not immediately possible, administrators should consider the following temporary mitigations: Limit workflow creation and editing permissions to fully trusted users only, disable the LDAP node by adding `n8n-nodes-base.ldap` to the `NODES_EXCLUDE` environment variable, and/or avoid passing unvalidated external user input into LDAP node search parameters via expressions. These workarounds do not fully remediate the risk and should only be used as short-term mitigation measures. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: af_alg - zero initialize memory allocated via sock_kmalloc
Several crypto user API contexts and requests allocated with
sock_kmalloc() were left uninitialized, relying on callers to
set fields explicitly. This resulted in the use of uninitialized
data in certain error paths or when new fields are added in the
future.
The ACVP patches also contain two user-space interface files:
algif_kpp.c and algif_akcipher.c. These too rely on proper
initialization of their context structures.
A particular issue has been observed with the newly added
'inflight' variable introduced in af_alg_ctx by commit:
67b164a871af ("crypto: af_alg - Disallow multiple in-flight AIO requests")
Because the context is not memset to zero after allocation,
the inflight variable has contained garbage values. As a result,
af_alg_alloc_areq() has incorrectly returned -EBUSY randomly when
the garbage value was interpreted as true:

The check directly tests ctx->inflight without explicitly
comparing against true/false. Since inflight is only ever set to
true or false later, an uninitialized value has triggered
-EBUSY failures. Zero-initializing memory allocated with
sock_kmalloc() ensures inflight and other fields start in a known
state, removing random issues caused by uninitialized data. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
um: init cpu_tasks[] earlier
This is currently done in uml_finishsetup(), but e.g. with
KCOV enabled we'll crash because some init code can call
into e.g. memparse(), which has coverage annotations, and
then the checks in check_kcov_mode() crash because current
is NULL.
Simply initialize the cpu_tasks[] array statically, which
fixes the crash. For the later SMP work, it seems to have
not really caused any problems yet, but initialize all of
the entries anyway. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/core: Check for the presence of LS_NLA_TYPE_DGID correctly
The netlink response for RDMA_NL_LS_OP_IP_RESOLVE should always have a
LS_NLA_TYPE_DGID attribute, it is invalid if it does not.
Use the nl parsing logic properly and call nla_parse_deprecated() to fill
the nlattrs array and then directly index that array to get the data for
the DGID. Just fail if it is NULL.
Remove the for loop searching for the nla, and squash the validation and
parsing into one function.
Fixes an uninitialized read from the stack triggered by userspace if it
does not provide the DGID to a kernel initiated RDMA_NL_LS_OP_IP_RESOLVE
query.

| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to versions 7.15.1 and 8.9.3, an LDAP Injection vulnerability exists in the SuiteCRM authentication flow. The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before embedding it into the LDAP search filter. By injecting LDAP control characters, an unauthenticated attacker can manipulate the query logic, which can lead to authentication bypass or information disclosure. Versions 7.15.1 and 8.9.3 patch the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath11k: fix deinitialization of firmware resources
Currently, in ath11k_ahb_fw_resources_init(), iommu domain
mapping is done only for the chipsets having fixed firmware
memory. Also, for such chipsets, mapping is done only if it
does not have TrustZone support.
During deinitialization, only if TrustZone support is not there,
iommu is unmapped back. However, for non fixed firmware memory
chipsets, TrustZone support is not there and this makes the
condition check to true and it tries to unmap the memory which
was not mapped during initialization.

This can be reproduced by probing an AHB chipset which is not
having a fixed memory region. During reboot (or rmmod) trace
can be seen.
Fix this issue by adding a condition check on firmware fixed memory
hw_param as done in the counter initialization function.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: af_alg - Set merge to zero early in af_alg_sendmsg
If an error causes af_alg_sendmsg to abort, ctx->merge may contain
a garbage value from the previous loop. This may then trigger a
crash on the next entry into af_alg_sendmsg when it attempts to do
a merge that can't be done.
Fix this by setting ctx->merge to zero near the start of the loop. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/damon/core: initialize damo_filter->list from damos_new_filter()
damos_new_filter() is not initializing the list field of newly allocated
filter object. However, DAMON sysfs interface and DAMON_RECLAIM are not
initializing it after calling damos_new_filter(). As a result, accessing
uninitialized memory is possible. Actually, adding multiple DAMOS filters
via DAMON sysfs interface caused NULL pointer dereferencing. Initialize
the field just after the allocation from damos_new_filter(). |

It is because that skb->len requires at least sizeof(struct qrtr_ctrl_pkt)
in qrtr_tx_resume(). And skb->len equals to size in qrtr_endpoint_post().
But size is less than sizeof(struct qrtr_ctrl_pkt) when qrtr_cb->type
equals to QRTR_TYPE_RESUME_TX in qrtr_endpoint_post() under the syzbot
scenario. This triggers the uninit variable access bug.
Add size check when qrtr_cb->type equals to QRTR_TYPE_RESUME_TX in
qrtr_endpoint_post() to fix the bug. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: linearize cloned gso packets in sctp_rcv
A cloned head skb still shares these frag skbs in fraglist with the
original head skb. It's not safe to access these frag skbs.

| GStreamer is a library for constructing graphs of media-handling components. An uninitialized stack variable vulnerability has been identified in the gst_matroska_demux_add_wvpk_header function within matroska-demux.c. When size < 4, the program calls gst_buffer_unmap with an uninitialized map variable. Then, in the gst_memory_unmap function, the program will attempt to unmap the buffer using the uninitialized map variable, causing a function pointer hijack, as it will jump to mem->allocator->mem_unmap_full or mem->allocator->mem_unmap. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to hijack the execution flow, potentially leading to code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10. |
