CVE-2025-69651 1 Gnu 1 Binutils 2026-03-19 5.5 Medium
GNU Binutils thru 2.46 readelf contains a vulnerability that leads to an invalid pointer free when processing a crafted ELF binary with malformed relocation or symbol data. If dump_relocations returns early due to parsing errors, the internal all_relocations array may remain partially uninitialized. Later, process_got_section_contents() may attempt to free an invalid r_symbol pointer, triggering memory corruption checks in glibc and causing the program to terminate with SIGABRT. No evidence of further memory corruption or code execution was observed; the impact is limited to denial of service. NOTE: this is disputed by third parties because the observed behavior occurred only in pre-release code and did not affect any tagged version.

CVE-2020-16930 1 Microsoft 2 365 Apps, Office 2026-02-23 7.8 High
<p>A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Microsoft Excel software when the software fails to properly handle objects in memory. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could run arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker could take control of the affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights.</p> <p>Exploitation of the vulnerability requires that a user open a specially crafted file with an affected version of Microsoft Excel. In an email attack scenario, an attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending the specially crafted file to the user and convincing the user to open the file. In a web-based attack scenario, an attacker could host a website (or leverage a compromised website that accepts or hosts user-provided content) containing a specially crafted file designed to exploit the vulnerability. An attacker would have no way to force users to visit the website. Instead, an attacker would have to convince users to click a link, typically by way of an enticement in an email or instant message, and then convince them to open the specially crafted file.</p> <p>The security update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how Microsoft Excel handles objects in memory.</p>
CVE-2025-59962 1 Juniper 3 Junos, Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved 2026-01-23 5.3 Medium
An Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved with BGP sharding configured allows an attacker triggering indirect next-hop updates, along with timing outside the attacker's control, to cause rpd to crash and restart, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). With BGP sharding enabled, triggering route resolution of an indirect next-hop (e.g., an IGP route change over which a BGP route gets resolved), may cause rpd to crash and restart. An attacker causing continuous IGP route churn, resulting in repeated route re-resolution, will increase the likelihood of triggering this issue, leading to a potentially extended DoS condition. This issue affects: Junos OS: * all versions before 21.4R3-S6,  * from 22.1 before 22.1R3-S6,  * from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S3,  * from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S3,  * from 22.4 before 22.4R3,  * from 23.2 before 23.2R2;  Junos OS Evolved:  * all versions before 22.3R3-S3-EVO,  * from 22.4 before 22.4R3-EVO,  * from 23.2 before 23.2R2-EVO. Versions before Junos OS 21.3R1 and Junos OS Evolved 21.3R1-EVO are unaffected by this issue.
CVE-2024-49938 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k_htc: Use __skb_set_length() for resetting urb before resubmit Syzbot points out that skb_trim() has a sanity check on the existing length of the skb, which can be uninitialised in some error paths. The intent here is clearly just to reset the length to zero before resubmitting, so switch to calling __skb_set_length(skb, 0) directly. In addition, __skb_set_length() already contains a call to skb_reset_tail_pointer(), so remove the redundant call. The syzbot report came from ath9k_hif_usb_reg_in_cb(), but there's a similar usage of skb_trim() in ath9k_hif_usb_rx_cb(), change both while we're at it.
CVE-2024-46844 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: um: line: always fill *error_out in setup_one_line() The pointer isn't initialized by callers, but I have encountered cases where it's still printed; initialize it in all possible cases in setup_one_line().
CVE-2025-66588 1 Azeotech 1 Daqfactory 2026-01-02 9.8 Critical

CVE-2021-47343 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm btree remove: assign new_root only when removal succeeds remove_raw() in dm_btree_remove() may fail due to IO read error (e.g. read the content of origin block fails during shadowing), and the value of shadow_spine::root is uninitialized, but the uninitialized value is still assign to new_root in the end of dm_btree_remove(). For dm-thin, the value of pmd->details_root or pmd->root will become an uninitialized value, so if trying to read details_info tree again out-of-bound memory may occur as showed below: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0x3fdcb14c8d7520 CPU: 4 PID: 515 Comm: dmsetup Not tainted 5.13.0-rc6 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC RIP: 0010:metadata_ll_load_ie+0x14/0x30 Call Trace: sm_metadata_count_is_more_than_one+0xb9/0xe0 dm_tm_shadow_block+0x52/0x1c0 shadow_step+0x59/0xf0 remove_raw+0xb2/0x170 dm_btree_remove+0xf4/0x1c0 dm_pool_delete_thin_device+0xc3/0x140 pool_message+0x218/0x2b0 target_message+0x251/0x290 ctl_ioctl+0x1c4/0x4d0 dm_ctl_ioctl+0xe/0x20 __x64_sys_ioctl+0x7b/0xb0 do_syscall_64+0x40/0xb0 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x44/0xae Fixing it by only assign new_root when removal succeeds
CVE-2025-37995 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-16 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: module: ensure that kobject_put() is safe for module type kobjects In 'lookup_or_create_module_kobject()', an internal kobject is created using 'module_ktype'. So call to 'kobject_put()' on error handling path causes an attempt to use an uninitialized completion pointer in 'module_kobject_release()'. In this scenario, we just want to release kobject without an extra synchronization required for a regular module unloading process, so adding an extra check whether 'complete()' is actually required makes 'kobject_put()' safe.
CVE-2023-44365 3 Adobe, Apple, Microsoft 6 Acrobat, Acrobat Dc, Acrobat Reader and 3 more 2025-12-16 7.8 High

CVE-2025-39729 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: ccp - Fix dereferencing uninitialized error pointer Fix below smatch warnings: drivers/crypto/ccp/sev-dev.c:1312 __sev_platform_init_locked() error: we previously assumed 'error' could be null
CVE-2022-50117 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vfio: Split migration ops from main device ops vfio core checks whether the driver sets some migration op (e.g. set_state/get_state) and accordingly calls its op. However, currently mlx5 driver sets the above ops without regards to its migration caps. This might lead to unexpected usage/Oops if user space may call to the above ops even if the driver doesn't support migration. As for example, the migration state_mutex is not initialized in that case. The cleanest way to manage that seems to split the migration ops from the main device ops, this will let the driver setting them separately from the main ops when it's applicable. As part of that, validate ops construction on registration and include a check for VFIO_MIGRATION_STOP_COPY since the uAPI claims it must be set in migration_flags. HISI driver was changed as well to match this scheme. This scheme may enable down the road to come with some extra group of ops (e.g. DMA log) that can be set without regards to the other options based on driver caps.
