CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was found in jishenghua jshERP up to 3.6. The impacted element is the function install of the file /jshERP-boot/plugin/installByPath of the component com.gitee.starblues.integration.operator.DefaultPluginOperator. The manipulation of the argument path results in path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Path traversal in ShortcutService prior to SMR Feb-2026 Release 1 allows privileged local attacker to create file with system privilege. |
| calibre is an e-book manager. In 9.1.0 and earlier, a path traversal vulnerability in Calibre's EPUB conversion allows a malicious EPUB file to corrupt arbitrary existing files writable by the Calibre process. During conversion, Calibre resolves CipherReference URI from META-INF/encryption.xml to an absolute filesystem path and opens it in read-write mode, even when it points outside the conversion extraction directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.2.0. |
| A malicious SCP server can send unexpected paths that could make the
client application override local files outside of working directory.
This could be misused to create malicious executable or configuration
files and make the user execute them under specific consequences.
This is the same issue as in OpenSSH, tracked as CVE-2019-6111. |
| changedetection.io is a free open source web page change detection tool. In versions prior to 0.53.2, the `/static/<group>/<filename>` route accepts `group=".."`, which causes `send_from_directory("static/..", filename)` to execute. This moves the base directory up to `/app/changedetectionio`, enabling unauthenticated local file read of application source files (e.g., `flask_app.py`). Version 0.53.2 fixes the issue. |
| OpenClaw is a personal AI assistant. Prior to OpenClaw version 2026.2.14, the Feishu extension previously allowed `sendMediaFeishu` to treat attacker-controlled `mediaUrl` values as local filesystem paths and read them directly. If an attacker can influence tool calls (directly or via prompt injection), they may be able to exfiltrate local files by supplying paths such as `/etc/passwd` as `mediaUrl`. Upgrade to OpenClaw `2026.2.14` or newer to receive a fix. The fix removes direct local file reads from this path and routes media loading through hardened helpers that enforce local-root restrictions. |
| calibre is a cross-platform e-book manager for viewing, converting, editing, and cataloging e-books. Versions 9.2.1 and below are vulnerable to Path Traversal through PDB readers (both 132-byte and 202-byte header variants) that allow arbitrary file writes with arbitrary extension and arbitrary content anywhere the user has write permissions. Files are written in 'wb' mode, silently overwriting existing files. This can lead to potential code execution and Denial of Service through file corruption. This issue has been fixed in version 9.3.0. |
| A vulnerability has been found in feng_ha_ha/megagao ssm-erp and production_ssm up to 4288d53bd35757b27f2d070057aefb2c07bdd097. This affects the function pictureDelete of the file PictureController.java. Such manipulation of the argument picName leads to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. This product is distributed under two entirely different names. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Dromara UJCMS 101.2. This issue affects the function deleteDirectory of the file WebFileTemplateController.delete of the component Template Handler. Such manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| There's a vulnerability in podman where an attacker may use the kube play command to overwrite host files when the kube file container a Secrete or a ConfigMap volume mount and such volume contains a symbolic link to a host file path. In a successful attack, the attacker can only control the target file to be overwritten but not the content to be written into the file.
Binary-Affected: podman
Upstream-version-introduced: v4.0.0
Upstream-version-fixed: v5.6.1 |
| bit7z is a cross-platform C++ static library that allows the compression/extraction of archive files. Prior to version 4.0.11, a path traversal vulnerability ("Zip Slip") exists in bit7z's archive extraction functionality. The library does not adequately validate file paths contained in archive entries, allowing files to be written outside the intended extraction directory through three distinct mechanisms: relative path traversal, absolute path traversal, and symbolic link traversal. An attacker can exploit this by providing a malicious archive to any application that uses bit7z to extract untrusted archives. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary file write with the privileges of the process performing the extraction. This could lead to overwriting of application binaries, configuration files, or other sensitive data. The vulnerability does not directly enable reading of file contents; the confidentiality impact is limited to the calling application's own behavior after extraction. However, applications that subsequently serve or display extracted files may face secondary confidentiality risks from attacker-created symlinks. Fixes have been released in version 4.0.11. If upgrading is not immediately possible, users can mitigate the vulnerability by validating each entry's destination path before writing. Other mitigations include running extraction with least privilege and extracting untrusted archives in a sandboxed directory. |
| In affected version of Octopus Deploy it was possible to remove files and/or contents of files on the host using an API endpoint. The field lacked validation which could potentially result in ways to circumvent expected workflows. |
| NetExec is a network execution tool. Prior to version 1.5.1, the module spider_plus improperly creates the output file and folder path when saving files from SMB shares. It does not take into account that it is possible for Linux SMB shares to have path traversal characters such as `../` in them. An attacker can craft a filename in an SMB share that includes these characters, which when spider_plus crawls and downloads, can write or overwrite arbitrary files. The issue is patched in v1.5.1. As a workaround, do not run spider_plus with DOWNLOAD=true against targets. |
| A weakness has been identified in Sanluan PublicCMS 6.202506.d. This impacts the function saveMetadata of the file TemplateCacheComponent.java of the component Template Cache Generation. Executing a manipulation can lead to path traversal. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability has been found in SSCMS 4.7.0. The affected element is an unknown function of the file LayerImageController.Submit.cs of the component layerImage Endpoint. Such manipulation of the argument filePaths leads to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| ByteDance DeerFlow before commit 2176b2b contains a path traversal and arbitrary file write vulnerability in bootstrap-mode custom-agent creation where the agent name validation is bypassed. Attackers can supply traversal-style values or absolute paths as the agent name to influence directory creation and write files outside the intended custom-agent directory, potentially achieving arbitrary file write on the system subject to filesystem permissions. |
| Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions prior to 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14, the external engine plugin loader concatenates a user-supplied engine name into a filesystem path without filtering path separators or .. components. An authenticated user with CREATE FUNCTION privileges can use a crafted ENGINE name to load an arbitrary shared library from anywhere on the filesystem via path traversal. The library's initialization code executes immediately during loading, before Firebird validates the module, achieving code execution as the server's OS account. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki - CSS extension allows Path Traversal. This issue affects MediaWiki - CSS extension: 1.44, 1.43, 1.39. |
| REDAXO is a PHP-based content management system. Prior to version 5.20.2, authenticated users with backup permissions can read arbitrary files within the webroot via path traversal in the Backup addon's file export functionality. The Backup addon does not validate the `EXPDIR` POST parameter against the UI-generated allowlist of permitted directories. An attacker can supply relative paths containing `../` sequences (or even absolute paths inside the document root) to include any readable file in the generated `.tar.gz` archive. Version 5.20.2 fixes this issue. |
| Gin-vue-admin is a backstage management system based on vue and gin. Gin-vue-admin <= v2.8.7 has a path traversal vulnerability in the breakpoint resume upload functionality. Attacker can upload any files on any directory. In the breakpoint_continue.go file, the MakeFile function accepts a fileName parameter through the /fileUploadAndDownload/breakpointContinueFinish API endpoint and directly concatenates it with the base directory path (./fileDir/) using os.OpenFile() without any validation for directory traversal sequences (e.g., ../). An attacker with file upload privileges could exploit this vulnerability. |
